A dissertação de mestrado apresenta as metodologias utilizadas com a integração de sistemas dos equipamentos de campo ao Centro de Controle, Comunicação, Operações e Segurança - CCCOS, visto ser o concentrador que recebe, gerencia, armazena e envia todas as informações dos equipamentos, seja do sistema de controle de acesso, através dos dados enviados e recebidos pelas placas de comunicação das leitoras das catracas, cancelas, torniquetes, sensores, sistema OCR, leitura automática de placas, contêineres, biometria facial, etc, ou do sistema de CFTV, através das imagens enviadas pelas câmeras fixas e móveis, via encoders e switches ou do sistema de comunicação VOIP, rádio ou telefonia. Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP); Pós-graduação em Agronomia (Energia na Agricultura) - FCA; A eficiência tratória dos tratores equipados com pneus infláveis varia desde próximo de 90%, quando operando em concreto, até menos de 50% para trabalhos em solos soltos ou arenosos. As características trativas de um pneu dependem do tipo e condições do solo, tipo e geometria do pneu, formato das suas garras, carga no eixo e pressão de inflação do pneu. Este trabalho teve como objetivo quantificar e avaliar o contato pneu/solo com ênfase nos métodos para a obtenção da área de contato. A abordagem, visando uma solução analítica para o caso, seria de difícil execução e imprecisa, não fosse o uso da técnica de Elementos Finitos que tem demonstrado versatilidade, flexibilidade e excelentes resultados em casos semelhantes. A área de contato do pneu com o solo é a responsável, em grande parte, pelo desempenho do trator, afetando também características como, a patinagem de pneus e a tração. Nowadays, electrical engineers face significant changes in the way the electrical energy is generated and distributed to the consumers. On the one hand, the number of electronic and electrical loads in power distribution systems is continuously growing. Developments in power electronics technology during last decades have enabled the use of power-electronics-based subsystems as an alternative to mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic subsystems, looking for more reliable and light systems, and a reduction in maintenance costs and environmental impact. On the other hand, due to the growth of alternative energy sources, power distribution systems supply the load not only from a single source but from a variety of energy sources such as batteries, fuel cells, solar panels and electromechanical generators. CIVINS; In 2011, the Laboratory for Electromagnetic and Electronic Systems proposed a new type of vibration monitoring systems, entitled Vibration Assessment Monitoring Point with Integrated Recovery of Energy or VAMPIRE, in their work entitled "VAMPIRE: accessing a life-blood of informatin for maintenance and damamge assessment (1). The proposed monitoring system includes a self-power harvesting accelerometer installed in motors on US Navy and US Coast Guard vessels used to monitor equipment vibration and diagnose the source of the high vibrations. Utilizing the observations and tools designed by the VAMPIRE project as a foundation, this thesis takes the LEES lab-designed CAPTCHA accelerometers to the US Navy and US Coast Guard fleets to test the lab-designed tool, collect ship equipment data, and verify the VAMPIRE concepts. The CAPTCHA's ability to monitor the vibrations of these systems could be used to immediately diagnose system casualties, aid in parts repair, and ultimately, become a tool to promote Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM). This research was conducted in association with Naval Warfare Development Command (NWDC) requests to update Unmanned Vehicle Tactical Memorandum TM-3-22- 5-SW. The research identified and discussed significant USV manning considerations such as source ratings and manpower qualities to pilot, operate sensors, support USV electronics, and the manpower implications associated with various weapons systems alternatives. In addition, this research described several existing and notional USV tactics, as well as a discussion about the existing N75 and N76 primary and secondary mission areas USV operations may support. The methodology consisted of a literature review of USV test reports; USV Advanced Concept Technology Demonstration briefs; USV Concept of Operations; fleet lessons learned; the USV tactical memorandum; Naval manpower instructions, and manuals; Weapons Tactical, Field, and Training Manuals; Military Utility Assessments; search of books, magazines, and manpower theses. The research found that determining manpower qualities and standard operating procedures will remain a dynamic process until USV equipment is standardized. The research also showed USV launch and recovery is more manpower intensive than that of a standard RHIB. Gunners Mates (GM) and Aviation Ordnancemen (AO) are potential source ratings to support USV Hellfire and Javelin missile modules. This book provides border management policymakers and reformers with a broad survey of key developments in and principles for improving trade facilitation through better border management, including practical advice on particular issues. In contrast to the traditional border management reform agenda, with its focus on improving customs operations, this book addresses both customs reform and areas well beyond customs-a significant broadening of scope. The book thus presents a new, more comprehensive approach to trade facilitation through border management reform: an approach that embraces a much wider, 'whole of government' perspective. The objective of this book is to summarize and provide guidance on what constitutes good practices in border management-looking beyond customs clearance. The contributions to the volume make clear that there are no simple or universally applicable solutions.
